Our Story

Our Story

Explore Academy - Peoria is a growing charter school now in its second year of serving families in Peoria, Arizona. We opened with a clear purpose: to give every student — no matter their background — access to a truly personalized, college-preparatory education.

Our model is simple but powerful. Students are placed at the center of their own learning. From the courses they choose to the pathways they chart, young people at Explore Academy - Peoria take ownership of their education in meaningful ways. This starts in Kindergarten and continues all the way through high school.

We are currently serving students in grades K through 11, with plans to complete our full K-12 program in the coming school year, including the expansion of our high school program through grades 9-11. We are still growing — and we are proud of every step of this journey.

Tutoring During Flex Periods

Students who need extra support can access tutoring during their built-in flex periods — no after-school arrangements needed. Small class sizes mean teachers can quickly identify who needs help and respond right away.

Family Partnership

Consistent Communication

Families are never left in the dark. We share weekly newsletters with all families and provide regular progress reports — weekly for grades 6-12 and monthly for grades K-5 — so parents always know how their child is doing.
